Shattered Dreams is the second novel of the "Three Pounds of Pressure" book series. "Shattered Dreams" is based on the life of Alfred "Bones" Barton who at twelve years old prompted law makers to enact a law based on his criminal behavior. 

As a young teen Bones was faced with many obstacles growing up in the housing projects. Will Bones influential family keep him out of harms way or will he become a product of his environment?
